Bet types & in-play
On a card of races the question is rarely one bet but how several are combined, and the bet type fixes the cost. This section sets out how the main types are built.
Singles, doubles, trebles and accumulators come first, with each-way as two bets. Full-cover bets add arithmetic, starting small with a Trixie (4 bets), passing the Patent (7) and the Lucky 15, and ending with the Heinz (57) and the Goliath (247). Cash out, bet builders, ante-post and in-play streaming come after.
The price of a full-cover slip is unit stake multiplied by bet count, and nothing else enters. In-play is on offer from Great Britain bookmakers; cash out is something an operator provides and not a legal right.
